INDUSTRY:

Agriculture is the largest element of Rwanda’s economy, employing the largest sector of the working population. Coffee, tea and sugar are grown for export and cereals, vegetables and rice are grown as food crops.

Rwanda’s oil industry is dependant on the importation of all petroleum products from Kenya. The country also has a fledgling mining industry.
