INDUSTRY:

Mozambique has many natural resources which will help to sustain the development of the agriculture, forestry, fishing, energy and tourism industries. Increased exports are expected and will bring with it increased investment.

Mozambique is an agriculturally based economy and industrial development has been slow. The mining industry looks set to be a key factor with diamond explorations already underway. The oil industry is another key factor and the downstream oil industry is developing with a number of international oil companies active in the marketing and distribution of petroleum products.

An effective tool when trading within Mozambique are credit status reports or company searches. Company information will include registration details, credit opinion, locations and financial information, where available.
